Christie Wilson’s first memory of Owasso High School basketball came when she was 5 years old.

Her father David, a teacher at Owasso, and mother Debra, then a secretary in the athletic office, drove her to the 1990 girls basketball state championship game, where she watched Owasso won its first state title.

Her final memory with Owasso High School basketball came a few months ago, and it was just as sweet, as she assisted head coach Matt Sweeney in the school’s second basketball state championship. Read the full story at OwassoReporter.com.
