Rejoice Christian, facing its first real test of the football season, provided a finish worthy of a top-10 team as it held off a feral attack from Barnsdall.

The Panthers led by two scores early in the second quarter before Rejoice Christian answered with the first of Andrew Crow’s three rushing TDs. The teams exchanged leads three times before Rejoice Christian held on to win 35-27.

The fifth-ranked Eagles, now 4-0 overall and 1-0 in district, trailed 13-0 before finding a way to counter Barnsdall’s attack. Crow’s three TDs came as part of a 17-carry, 167-yard performance. Read the full story on
